We Irish are known for being up for the craic and talking to pretty much anyone but it’s nice to have it writing.

RoughGuides.com decided to do a poll to find out the top 10 friendliest cities in the world and to be honest we’re not surprised that an Irish city made the cut. (In fact, we reckon there should have been a few more in there.)
Glasgow in Scotland claimed the top spot, followed by our beloved capital city Dublin which is home to people from every corner of the country.
Montreal, Liverpool and Tokyo rounded out the top five. This lot were followed by Vancouver (sixth), Copenhagen (seventh), Dubai (eighth), Manchester (ninth) and Melbourne (tenth).
