It has now been announced that everything is back in action, with the new ship due to make its maiden voyage in 2022.
The shiny new cruise ship is currently being built in China (not Belfast, so there's some comfort in that).
It is rumoured to be costing £500 MILLION, and will hold over 2000 passengers, and 900 crew members.
That is a big boat lads.
The big difference between Titanic II and the original? Lifeboats. There will be enough lifeboats to house every single person on the ship.
Smart. Wish they'd thought of it before.
Oh, and naturally it will have modern navigation technology, so all icebergs can be avoided.
Would you DARE board Titanic II, and journey across the Atlantic ocean?
