Remember life before puberty (LBP) when all you had to worry about was where you left your bike and what toy was included in a Happy Meal?

LBP was blissful, void of spots, hormones, and mood swings. It’s hard now to imagine LBP but for those living it, it’s hard to imagine anything else. I mean try explaining aunt flow to a child? Well, for one unfortunate teen, this was the reality when her little sister walked in on her in the bathroom. Meeiah Tolentino, a 16-year-old from Alaska explained the situation to Buzzfeed News. “She loves following everyone in my family around,” she said. “I mean she’s 3 years old, little kids are curious.” Meeiah was in a hurry and forgot to check if the toilet door was fully locked. Innocently, her 3-year-old sister Rain followed her and was faced with the realities of life after puberty. Rain was swiftly pulled out of the bathroom by a cousin but not before the child witnessed enough to scar her. “I went in my room and saw her bawling,” said Meeiah. “She was yelling, ‘you need to go to the doctor,’ and ‘you’re going to die because you’re bleeding!’”

Her reaction was so adorable hysterical that Meeiah captured a video and uploaded it to Twitter where it certainly resonated. “Some of them are actually agreeing to my sisters reaction when they’re on their period,” the teen said.

“My parents are very surprised that she’s all over the place…But they thought it was funny and now they’re treating my little sister like she’s a superstar,” she said. “It’s just surprising to everyone that the video went viral.” Thankfully Rain quickly forgot the drama and was back to her playful self.
