This is Sabina Altynbekova, a 17-year-old volleyball player from Kazakhstan. However, Sabina is coming under fire for the most ridiculous reason, apparently she is too beautiful to play her sport.
According to the
Huffington Post, critics are claiming that Sabina is so beautiful that she is proving to be a distraction from the sport.
Even her coach has commented that Sabina taking attention away from the team: "It is impossible to work like this," Nurlan Sadikov, coach of the nation's under-19 team, commented. "The crowd behaves like there is only one player at the championship."
Although Sabina has been approached for modelling contracts in the past, she has turned these down and her Instagram is filled with pictures of her training or playing volleyball.
The hype has reached such a level that there are now videos circulating online of Sabina training, warming up before her matches and playing
games.
