Apologies to @Liveline_RTE listeners today for the technical issue we have been experiencing with phone lines

With no calls coming through, the veteran presenter decided to pop on Runaway by The Corrs while "over 50 people" worked to repair the line.
The station has since apologised for the landmark technical failure so fingers crossed that normal service will resume tomorrow! Here's what Twitter had to say...
