Having a lazy Sunday? Kick back, pour yourself a cuppa and enjoy Team Her.ie’s favourite reads of the week.

Grace’s Choice: Donal Walsh Live Life
Grace says: Last week I had the opportunity to speak with Elma Walsh, the mother of inspirational Kerry teenager Donal Walsh whose anti-suicide message touched the entire country earlier in the year. Donal sadly lost his battle with cancer in May and his family and friends are eager to continue his powerful message through the 'Donal Walsh Live Life' foundation. Recently a report from the coroner's office showed that the rate of suicide in Co. Kerry had decreased as a direct result of Donal's writings, a phenomenal testimony to the impact the 16-year-old made in his short life.
Chatting to his Mum about her son's legacy and witnessing the efforts of fundraising by father Fionnbar online, it is very clear where Donal got his incredible sense of character and courageous spirit.

Rebecca’s Choice:
Rebecca says: My favourite story of the week is a sad one but it really tugged on my heartstrings. I was completely moved by what Lea Michele said about Cory Monteith and am so in awe of how brave she has been through the entire thing. Fair play to her for opening up like that.

Úna’s Choice: The Cookie Dough Queen
Úna says: This week I chatted with food entrepreneur Sophie Morris who started her brilliant company Kooky Dough four years ago. We spoke about what she's up to now, baking tips and her journey through the food industry. I love food and was delighted to hear about her cuisine adventures - I was really craving cookies after I spoke with her. She's an inspiring lady!

Cathy’s Choice: A Perfect Portrait
Cathy says: I loved this story as it was so creative, little Emma is just gorgeous and her mother Jaime thought of a really fun yet educational way to teach her about inspirational women. Coco Chanel has to be my favourite image as I'm obsessed anyway.
