Take a drive along the Ring of Kerry Well known as one of Ireland's most scenic drives, the Ring of Kerry never disappoints. You can even take a horse and cart if you fancy something different. Make sure you stop off at Star Wars filming location Skellig Michael along the way.
Have some fish and chips in Howth There is nothing better than some fish and chips by the seaside. While you're there, try out the Howth coastal walk to make the most of the views.cowgirls don't cry, ride baby ride ?. yesterday, we rode on a horse-drawn carriage through the Gap of Dunloe with the most terribly perfect Irish pony man who made us laugh so hard my tea-filled bladder almost didn't make it and serenaded us with Irish songs and dirty jokes (and we loved every bloody minute of it). . #GapofDunloe #ringofkerry #donnythepony A photo posted by meg b. Go to a Festival in Galway It's hard to beat a good festival and Galway has plenty. From the annual races to the Oyster Festival and from The Film Fleadh to The Arts Festival there's rarely a weekend where there isn't something going on.
Have some tea at Father Ted's House Ah, go on, go on, go on. Turns out you actually can have a cup of tea in Father Ted's house. While Ms.Doyle won't be there to serve you, the McCormack family who now live in the house offer tea and home baking by appointment. You can book here. Here are the Bulmer's winners having a quick stop off outside the house earlier this week.
Marvel at the Cliffs of Moher
It doesn't get much better than the Cliffs of Moher. The cliffs stretch for 8 kilometers along the Atlantic coast and on a clear day, you can even see as far as the Aran Islands. We recommend going at sunset to make the most of the views, just make sure it's not a foggy day.
Get lost in Glenveagh Glenveagh National Park is a hidden treasure tucked away in Co. Donegal. The park has its own deer herd as well as an impressive castle and walled gardens.
