You're a mixture of relieved and outraged to learn that the little visitor, who is quite literally a pain in the hole, is in town. There's no doubt that if your period was a person, you'd hate her.
She's the kind of irritating little freak that shows up to places uninvited and really can't take the hint when she's extremely unwelcome. She also makes you eat an obscene amount of chocolate and watch sad films even though you know you'll get upset. She's a wagon.
