Reaching orgasm.

There have been numerous articles written and surveys conducted in relation to the female orgasm but the reality is it's different for everyone. What works for one person won't necessarily deliver the same result for someone else but despite that, everyone's curious about the subject and that's why surveys such as the one we're about to detail prove so interesting. A study published in the Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy surveyed 1,055 women, ranging in age from 18 to 94 years, asking them questions relating to their sex lives. Getting down to the nitty-gritty, researchers uncovered what it was that sent them over the edge, with people submitting varying answers. As has so often been publicised, penetrative sex alone is not enough for the majority of women to orgasm and with this particular survey, 18.4 percent of women said this worked for them. 36.6 percent then said they needed clitoral stimulation while an added 36 percent said that although they didn't necessarily need it to orgasm, it helped to get them there. What was really interesting though was when the survey dug a little deeper and found what stimulation worked best. According to Women's Health, 81.7 percent of those surveyed said that rhythmic stimulation came out on top (excuse the terrible pun) while circular stimulation of the clitoris ensured orgasm for 78.3 percent. Other types of stimulations that featured included changing it up and switching between different motions and patterns and slowing down at the right time also led to orgasm for 73. 6 percent.
