It's definitely a night to sit in as the weather is expected to be dismal later today but the good news is there's lots on the box including X Factor, Downton Abbey and of course the much anticipated return of Love/Hate.
Met Éireann has issued an orange warning wind warning for Dublin, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow, Meath, Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Cork, Kerry and Waterford.

The national forecaster says that "strong to gale force" winds will develop in Western parts this afternoon. The wind, accompanied by heavy rain, will spread to the rest of the country soon after.
It's thought that persistent rain will continue into tonight together "with strong winds and some spot flooding".
The worst affected areas will be exposed Southern and Eastern coasts due to severe gusts. According to
Met Éireann, the rain will clear later tonight and winds will lessen.
Lowest temperatures will be at around 7 or 8 degrees. Further unsettled weather is expected for the rest of this week.
