Statistics from Jo's Cervical Trust say that eight women are diagnosed with cervical cancer in the UK every day and that one in three women do not attend their smear test appointments.
"If we can just save one life with this campaign, then we have achieved a great deal," chief executive of the organisation Robert Music told ELLE.com.
"The response from the public has been fantastic and we have already have women telling us #SmearForSmear has reminded them to book their overdue smear tests."
