The airline have announced that the new routes will deliver an additional 700,000 passengers every year.
RTE also confirmed that the jobs will be spread between Shannon and Dublin and will include cabin crew, pilots, engineers, customer service, sales and IT.
CEO Michael O'Leary claims that the job creation was a result of the scrapping of the €3 travel tax.
