RTÉ Radio's managing director Clare Duignan is set to leave the broadcaster next month.
According to reports she chose not to renew her contract bringing an end to her 35-year-long career with them.

She is one of their longest-serving members.
Ms Duignan said: "I took the decision some time ago. I've had a long, long career here in RTÉ."
She also revealed that she is planning to dedicate more time to the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival and Business to Arts, two projects for which she is a director, as well as some new projects.

John McMahon left the broadcaster recently as well.
It is the second high-profile departure the station has had in recent months. Head of 2FM John McMahon left only a matter of weeks ago.
Jim Jennings, head of RTÉ Radio 1, is to serve as managing director until the position is opened to public competition.
