In a touching show of sportsmanship, the new champion shared an inspiring post to his Instagram account hours after the fight. He thanked his fans, friends and family, who have been his
rock throughout the years.
Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a. The Rock, regrammed the post commending McGregor on his win and show of respect.
"One of the classiest messages and show of respect for his opponent I've seen from a champion. Congrats @thenotoriousmma. You're on your way to becoming an icon. #Respect", he wrote.
