This is just plain CRUEL.
The Christmas sweet preference has divided opinion for many years, and without causing a national debate, I'm here to say that Cadbury's Roses are the winners, but each to their own.
The Gainfords of Wexford are more Cadbury's Heroes people than any other variety, and when an unsuspecting Emma decided she'd treat herself to a sweet because it's Christmas after all, she was in for one of the worst surprises anyone has ever received.
Sprouts.
Every sweet in the God damn tin (we must collectively still refer to them as tins even though they're really plastic containers) had been replaced with the vegetable that people love to hate, Brussel Sprouts.
We've always shouted about the wrath of an Irish mother, but this is despicable behaviour on Christmas... we hope Mammy O' Leary had an explanation for such cruelty and an extra tin for Emma. This would be enough to ruin Christmas entirely.
