Jennifer Davis has received a number of letters from her students during her career, but she found an extra special note when term finished up for the holidays this week.
The maths teacher, who works at West Mesquite High School in Texas, was surprised when she found a note in her mailbox from a student who doesn’t like maths.
Despite this, the pupil goes on to thank Davis for her guidance, hard work and for being a teacher that “truly cares.”
Speaking to the
Dallas News website about it, Davis said: “It’s always so wonderful when you get something like this, because you never have that kind of interaction with your students.
“And she hit all the things I want a student to notice. You could tell it was… genuine. It gave me goosebumps.”
