Subtle as a brick.
There is nothing - we repeat NOTHING - an Irish Mammy enjoys more than being right in the middle of a drama.
Never one to avoid getting all the goss, the Irish Mammy gets stuck right in.
Although she'll pretend she "doesn't give a toss", her shifty eyes and muffled whispers under the hand betray a different story.
So you can imagine the shuffling in the seat that occurred when this Irish Mammy's daughter's ex walked into the local today.
She had the phone straight out to text Amanda and let her know who had just walked in, and she didn't beat around the bush.
Amanda sent us these amazing texts and said that her Mam seems to hold a torch for her ex, but that it "only came to light when we broke up".
Sadly, Amanda doesn't feel the same way and told us that her Mam is just going to have to "get over it".
Thanks to Amanda Higgins for sending this our way. If you have something you think Her readers would love, hit us up at hello@her.ie or find us on Facebook or Twitter.
