According to The Guardian, one million copies of the special edition will be published on Wednesday, with thousands expected to be sent abroad.
Thursday will mark one year since brothers Chérif and Said Kouachi opened fire in Charlie Hebdo’s offices in eastern Paris. The attack killed 12 people, including eight magazine staff.
The world mourned for the victims and families with the hashtag ‘Je Suis Charlie’ which started a viral movement, including messages, images from fellow cartoonists and vigils posted worldwide.
The brothers believed to responsible for the Charlie Hebdo massacre were killed in an exchange of fire at a siege situation at a printworks factory in Dammartin-en-Goele, near Charles de Gaulle airport.Explore more on these topics:
