You might want to think twice before signing up to this popular selfie app.

People are being warned about using a new artificial intelligence selfie app due to a disturbing detail in the terms and conditions. It's very rare that any of us read the terms and conditions on anything, but it seems that this is one you example where you might want to pay attention to those paragraphs of tiny text. The app is called Lensa AI and allows users to create AI-generated selfies by uploading 10-20 images of themselves. Lensa then creates around 50 AI-generated selfies in various forms. But you may want to think twice about signing up to now. By agreeing to the Ts & Cs, you are agreeing to the "company license" as well, which gives the app permission to "distribute" and "use" any photos you upload. The conditions read: "Lensa may allow you to upload, edit, create, store and share content, including photos and videos (User Content").

"We do not claim ownership over your User Content. However, in order to provide you with the services (e.g., to make our services accessible to you), we seek a legal permission from you to use your User Content.

"You give us such a permission by means of a Company License, as defined below."
