Complete misunderstanding of how phones work... Phone rings. Us: Hello Parent: Hello? HELLO? Us: Yeah? Parent: CAN YOU HEAR ME? Yes, it’s a phone. That’ s the concept. 3. “Do you want dinner?” If you haven’t received this text, they just don’t want to feed you... 4. The “I have no understanding of a missed call” text. Luckily, my phone tells me when I’ve missed a call. Genius. 5. Are you alive? Phone rings Us: Hello Parent: Oh hello. Just checking in to see if you’re still alive. Us: You are our next of kin on every form that exists. You would know if we were dead. Parent: Oh my god! Don’t say things like that! Us: You just asked if I was dead or not?!!! 6. The "How Did You Not Notice You Wrote That" text. Yes. We got it the first time. 7. The fact that our Dad’s don’t have the chats like our mothers... Short and sweet. 8. When you pick up the phone, you say hello... Phone rings Us: Hello Silence Us: Hello? Parent: Oh hello, why didn’t you say hello the first time? When you ring a person, put the phone to your ear... 9. LOCK YOUR PHONE Why do you not lock your phone? Why? 10. They never listen to us. Ever We told you where we were about seven hundred times. You still called. 11. The “Your Dad Can’t Be Bothered Writing the Message” Text Why doesn’t he text us himself? 12. The “New Phone” text Expect hundreds of phonecalls and texts for this one... 13.
