Ah weddings. It's a minefield, lads.

Whether it's presents, dress-code, or guest lists... someone will probably find offence with something or other. Still, one Irish bride-to-be has now been labelled 'dramatic' - following a question that she posted to a wedding Facebook group. "We had our meal tasting last night in our hotel," she began. "Most of my communication with our wedding coordinator to this date has been via email. When we arrive to the hotel and sat at our table our wedding coordinator walked in heavily pregnant... Due just before our wedding day. We didn’t know she was pregnant." So you can probably see what's coming now. The bride continued: "Now don’t get me wrong everyone is entitled to a life and to have a family, I’m not disputing that and I'm very happy for her, but I was very disappointed that nothing was mentioned to us beforehand about this until she walked in. "And so I was worried and wasn't able to concentrate during our tasting." The woman went on to praise the wedding coordinator's work and professional record - stating that her presence at the hotel was a big incentive to book there. She added: "I’m disappointed that I was not told before this that she wouldn’t be around for our day, and now worried about the experience of the new girl taking her position who we were introduced to last night but she was only around for a few minutes." She concluded: "Am I being over dramatic? Would you be annoyed they didn’t consider contacting you to inform you?" Needless-to-say, the floodgates opened in the aftermath. Many members of the group call her 'selfish' and asked whether the post had been a joke. Plenty of people emphasised that there was no obligation to inform the couple of the pregnancy: "She doesn't need to tell you, they have someone covering her and once everything is in email and contract then I'm sure it will be fine. Everything will be handed over to the new girl. Don't make a problem where there is none, it's stressful enough." Another highlighted: "I'm sure your original wedding coordinator has been involved in recruiting and training this lady as her replacement... particularly if she's award-winning. If she's so good and her job and you're dealing with her until she goes on maternity leave then I wouldn't have any doubts about your wedding." Somebody else stated: "I think that if it's even an issue for you that's sad. Women have come along way and we no longer have to declare if we are pregnant to anyone." What do you reckon?
