Go on a reality TV programme, expect a slagging.
How you handle it is, of course, up to you – but it’s our view that the male cast of Made in Chelsea have hit gold with this hilarious promo.
Spoofing the clichés the show has become famous for, the promo, called ‘I’m Ready’ sees Spencer tell viewers he’s: “ready to go to the river and think about things deeply…particularly relationship matters”.
Andy is “ready to sit around in bars and cafes for far more than is necessary”, and also “ready to have huge nostrils”, while Ollie is “ready to have lots of arguments in public’ and Francis is “ready to go dog walking with Millie”.
The send-up has been viewed over a quarter of a million times since it was posted online last week, something that poor Philly from Tallafornia would do well to remember when he’s planning for “more success”.
Philly, who stars in the Dublin–based Irish answer to Jersey/Geordie Shore, hit the roof earlier this week when a snap of him with a ‘fan’ went viral. Instead of laughing it off, Philly took to social networking sites to lambast his haters and threatened to sue the man responsible for the picture. His rant even made it all the way across the pond and to the front page of Gawker.
Note to you Philly – something like this might be a better way to go about it.
