Aberdeen City Council made a bit of an error on the cover of their publication this week.
The front cover of the local authority’s newsletter, which is distributed to council housing tenants, usually reads ‘Newsbite’ but there was a bit of ambiguity concerning the title on the latest issue.
Due to the overlapping of the main image and the masthead, it appeared to read ‘Newsh*te’ and the slip-up has attracted the attention of quite a few people online.
A council spokesman told
The Press and Journal:
“An unfortunate oversight in the production process for the front cover of the latest edition of Newsbite has focused a lot of unwelcome attention on this excellent publication!
“The newsletter is full of useful information for city council tenants and we are delighted that so many people are now aware of it”.
