In Dublin today, a new world record was set. But it wasn’t for the fastest man or the tallest woman, it was for the most Christmas jumpers worn in one place.
That’s right, over one thousand people gathered at the Spire on O’Connell Street today to help set the new tally.
Dublin Town tweeted the above picture and wrote: “Delighted with the news! New record for Dublin with 1297 #GeansaiNollag mark!”
According to RTÉ News, the money raised by the occasion will be going to the Make a Wish Foundation.
If that doesn’t put you in the Christmas spirit, we don’t know what will!
