Were the words ‘PRIVATE KEEP OUT’ scrawled across it, with more locks than Fort Knox, containing all of your deepest darkest secrets? Did you write about the angst driven pain that was teenage life? When your parents grounded you and it literally meant the end of the world. What about that awful Sylvia Plath inspired poetry? Or those song lyrics you penned about the love of your life when you were 13. If so, Mortified Dublin want you! Mortified Nation is the storytelling phenomenon that started in 2002 in the U.S. Following a hugely successful documentary it's now the largest and longest running community of its kind. Participants are asked to stand on stage and read the most embarrassing excerpts from their childhood diaries. In a post on their Facebook page they said:

“Following on from our wildly successful sold out debut in May, we are now casting for out second show! If you have teenage (or younger) diaries, stories, poems, songs, anything, we want to hear from you.”

You don't have to be the next Emily Dickinson to get involved, in fact, the more cringe-worthy your stuff is, the better!
