The forecast says more snow!

We've already seen some snow in many parts of the country and now it's looking like the white stuff is going to stick around for a few more days. Met Éireann has issued a yellow warning for the whole country set to come into affect at 8am tomorrow morning. Today is also very cold as you may have guessed if you've been outside at all. Today in Dublin and surrounding areas will be quite frosty and "ice will be slow to clear this morning. Today will be very cold with sunny spells and scattered wintry showers of sleet or snow. Highest temperatures this afternoon of just 2 or 3 degrees in a moderate easterly breeze." "Tonight will be very cold with a widespread frost and icy stretches. It will be mostly dry with clear spells, though there will be showers of sleet or snow at times. It will become breezy as fresh to strong and gusty southeasterly winds develop. Lowest temperatures of -1 or 0 degrees." The freezing temperatures will stay around for a few more days, and tomorrow "it will be windy and very cold with fresh to strong and gusty southeasterly winds and afternoon temperatures of just 2 or 3 degrees." "Sleet and snow in Munster, Connacht and Leinster early on Thursday night will become largely confined to Leinster overnight, with rain persisting towards the south coast as temperatures increase here. Staying breezy with fresh and gusty southeasterly winds, strong near all coasts. Lowest temperatures of -2 to +1 degrees." It's looking like at weekend temperatures will get warmer, but it will be mostly raining with a chance of flooding in parts of the country on Saturday. It will also be very windy, so enjoy the freezing temperatures with the snow before the rain comes back. And don't forget, the best weather is still ahead of us.
