This is how many times women think about sex each day… and it’s a lot

A study has found that women think about sex more than they may like admit.

The study revealed that women think about sex on an average of 18.6 times a day, which is every 51 minutes when allowing for 8 hours sleep - wow! The research conducted by IllicitEncounters.com found the highest score recorded for a woman was 140 thoughts of sex in a day, which was once every seven minutes. Over the course of a week, psychologists at Ohio University carried out the study and recorded the behaviour of students aged 18-25, by using hand-held counters. The 283 students were asked to record every time they thought about sex, food and sleep each day. The results also showed that women thought about food 15.3 times a day, once every 62 minutes, and sleep 13.4 times, every 72 minutes. Men thought about sex on an average of once every 28 minutes, their stomachs every 38 minutes and sleep every 33 minutes. The study also found that 59 percent of women regularly fantasise about sex with their ex. Surprisingly, men rank lower coming in at 48 percent.
