21.40 BIG reaction in the studio.
Judges' comments:
Gary: What a performance. Flawless vocals
Nicole: I believed you. You were on fire.
Louis: The vocal performance of the night, by a mile.
Mrs O is deeeelighted with her girl.
21.38 Sam's singing No More Tears (Enough Is Enough), which was originally a duet. She's some woman for one woman.
21.36 Time flies when you're having fun! It's the last act of the night, Mrs O's girl Sam Bailey. We love the Bailey, she's a legend.
21.32 Given the night's theme, shall we all just go ahead and buy one of these?
21.30 Judges' comments:
Louis: That was amazing.
Sharon: You're finally smiling. I'm so glad you're here.
Gary: That is how to come back. You're the most soulful singer left in the competition.
Nicole told her she put that 'stank on it'. We think. We don't have a clue what she's saying half the time, but she is amazing.
21.29 You can't keep a good girl down.
21.27 For a glorious half second, that opening note sounded like it was going to be The Circle of Life.
21.26 James Arthur is Hannah's biggest fan. That's quite sweet really.
21.25 Hannah Barrett is up, she'll be singing Somebody Else’s Guy. Tough week for Hannah, after she escaped elimination last week.
21.24 FINALLY, a Flack sighting! She's not had a whole pile to do tonight. She looks fab though.
21.20 By the way, this is Sharon and Ozzy back in their disco days. Hawt.
21.18 Can we please come too?
21.17 Judges' comments:
Sharon: I loved it, it was wonderful. Be more naughty.
Gary: What a great singer you are.
Nicole: Honey chiiiiiild... it's about the feeling.
Louis is happy with his act for sure, now he just has to fight to keep him out of Sharon's pocket.
21.15 Little Nicholas is up and he's taking on a Michael Jackson number.
21.10 Judges' comments:
Louis: I loved the arrangement.
Sharon: You're a brave girl and I bow down to you.
Gary: I knew you could do it.
Nicole is making up words again, which suggests she's very pleased.
21.08 Already very obvious that this will NOT be the Gloria version. Interesting take on it? There is no doubting her voice is a powerhouse.
21.07 Cuppa made. Now it's time for Nicole's "glittery little butterfly" Abi, and her take on I Will Survive. GO ON NOW GO, WALK OUT THE DOOR...
21.o3 Break time. We'll stick the kettle on. What are you having?
20.57 Judges' comments:
Nicole: That was Le Freak, C'est Chic.
Louis: You made it your own. (He's been known to say that once or twice...)
Sharon: When you perform, it's joyous.
Gary thinks it's the performance of the show so far. Do you agree?
20.55 Rough Copy are suited and booted and singing September. They are SO cute. And they have some serious moves.
20.49 Stop everything and look at this picture of Louis Walsh and the amazing hair he was sporting in 1981.
20.45 Judges' comments:
Sharon: You love doing what you do, and that way great.
Gary: I hated that performance. Everyone else is so much better than you.
Nicole: That song exposed your vocal weaknesses.
Ouch. Could it be a taxi for Sam this weekend?
20.43 Sam Callahan is up singing Relight My Fire. Gary is open-mouthed, and we're not sure if it's shock or awe...
20.41 Kiltimagh gets a shout out on X Factor. Mayo people must be so proud.
20.39 Judges' comments:
Louis: Every time I see you I think 'star'.
Sharon: That was lovely. Lovely.
Gary: Truly elegant.
Nicole thinks her girl nailed it. Now she's taking about melted butter and velvet. Nope, we don't have a clue either.
20.36 Tamera's up, taking on Wishing On A Star. More amazing hair.
20.33 It's not often we disagree with Mrs O, but...
21.31 Littlewoods Ireland, just saying what we're all thinking...
20.30 But seriously, Nicole's hair... SCHAMAZING.
20.26 Judges' comments:
Nicole: Too perfect, too planned.
Louis: I hope you get a few more weeks.
Sharon: Take that look off your face!
Gary's a proud mentor, no matter what the others said...
20.23 Over to Gary next week and his boys in Kingsland Road. They’re gonna be dancing!
20.19 Judges' comments:
Sharon: Luke is the dark horse.
Gary: It was incredible.
Nicole: We know how funky you are now.
That's some good feedback right there Luke...
20.17 We're off to a good start. Luke's got soul!
20.15 Fifteen minutes in and the first act is up. Luke has a great week last week, can he keep up the good work? Louis definitely has faith in him to go all the way. Luke's singing Play That Funky Music. What a tune.
20.10 You won't understand a word, but this is AMAZING. Learn how to dance disco style from these Finnish movers. Can we just say, swag.

20.08 Practice your pointing. It's the key to all good 70s style dancing.
20.05 Can we all just stop for a minute and appreciate Nicole's hair? Wow.
20.04 Oh Dermot. We'll dance with you any time. Sigh. Swoon.
20.02 So it’s Disco Week. We’re hoping to see flares, mad hair and even a rollerskate or two - time will tell. We can tell you right now though what everyone will be singing.
Abi Alton – I Will Survive
Hannah Barrett – Somebody Else’s Guy
Kingsland Road – Blame It On The Boogie
Luke Friend – Play That Funky Music
Rough Copy – September
Sam Callahan – Relight My Fire
Tamera Foster – Wishing On A Star
Sam Bailey – No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)
Nicholas Mc Donald - Rock With You
We're not gonna lie, we'll be singing along at the top of our voices...
19.58 That opening performance we mentioned? It’s this guy. A total legend, and the perfect act to kick off Disco Week.

19.55 T minus five minutes to kick off and we’ve got some news. The first big story tonight is that there is NO Flash Vote. A statement from ITV released this evening read; “Tonight's show will not feature the Flash Vote. Phone lines will open once everyone has performed tonight and they will close in Sunday's show where the bottom two acts will be revealed.”
That’s not to say the Flash Vote is gone for good though. ITV explained the decision by saying that the opening performance planned for tonight meant there wasn’t time for a Flash Vote too. More on that opening performance in a minute…
Keep up to speed with all things X Factor on Her.ie in association with our friends at Littlewoods Ireland, official sponsors of the show!
