''I'm the only one in my family who is awake and I'm only 12 and a 1/2.''
When you're little, your pet can be your best friend. So fears about their health can be very scary.
Maggie and her cat Shadow were casually watching TV when Shadow sneakily stole some of his owners milk. Concerned, Maggie emailed an Animal Hospital to ask for help.
The adorable email entitled 'my cats helth' said:
''Hello. My cat, Shadow, was watching T.V. with me and drank a few sips of my strawberry milk. It had been on the table and he drank it when I wasn't looking.
''I am concerned how this may effect him because I do not know if he has ever drunken milk or strawberry milk.
'‘I am also concerned because I am the only one in my family who is awake and I am only 12 and a half so I don’t know what to do. Please help me.’'

The email was sent at 7.59am so we're guessing Maggie was up first thing to watch cartoons with her kitty and didn't want to get in trouble by waking anyone else in her house.
The recipient of the Email shared it on
Reddit where Maggie was praised for being so responsible at only 12 (and a half).
The vet, Laura also sent back a lengthy reply telling Maggie not to worry, as shared on
Metro.
''Dear Maggie,
I am so sorry we weren't able to get back to you sooner. Thank you for being a very responsible pet owner and having concern when your pet got into something he shouldn't have. Good news though! You don't have to worry. Although milk isn't the safest thing for cats, in small amounts it should not be harmful. I wouldn't let him have sips of your strawberry milk regularly but just this one, should be okay.
If you notice her is having any vomiting or diarrhea, please let your mom and dad know so they can make an appointment to bring him here for an exam.''
So the next time your cat drinks some strawberry milk, don't worry a whole lot. Just don't let them drink too much.
