Kristen Stewart On the Effects of the Twilight Saga: “I’d Probably Have Turned Mad”

It’s the film that made her a star but Kristen Stewart admits that the Twilight films could have caused her to lose her marbles.

The actress, who seems to finally be turning things around after the whole Rupert Sanders affair, revealed in a recent interview that she is glad that they weren’t the only thing she got to work on over the last five years.

 

Kristen has dedicated a number of years to the character of Bella Swan.

“I lived in the Twilight world for about four years – that’s a very long time that demands a lot of patience on your part… Thank God, I had the opportunity to do smaller movies like The Runaways… Otherwise I’d probably have turned mad,” she told the German version of Glamour magazine.

As much as this statement might annoy the Twihards out there, Kristen was also sure to explain that the saga means a lot to her.

She said: “I will always have good memories about Twilight, and I had no clue what would happen when the first movie came into the theatres… I took the role because I love movies.”

The fact that she also met her rather attractive, rumoured to be forgiving, boyfriend Robert Pattinson and got to see Taylor Lautner topless on set probably helped too!
