RTÉ is planning to air the fourth series of Love/Hate earlier than usual this year. In fact it is said to be hitting the small screen at the beginning of next month.
The popular crime drama, which has been sold to numerous countries abroad, usually airs in November and December but bosses have decided to surprise viewers with an earlier start date.

Nidge and co will be back on the small screen at the beginning of October.
“They really wanted it to come back with a bang, so decided to bring the date forward compared to previous years,” a source told the Irish Independent.
After the shock exit of one of the main characters at the end of season three, there is a lot of expectation surrounding the upcoming series and storylines.
The end of series three shocked a lot of fans.
Apparently it will focus more so on the pursuit of Nidge (Tom Vaughan Lawlor) by the authorities than the gangland criminals.
While RTÉ are yet to confirm the report, the start date for the fourth series of Love/Hate is said to be October 6th. And yes, we have already put it in our diaries!
