An Irish vet nurse living in Perth, Australia, volunteered to foster a baby kangaroo when it was found on the side of the road.
The Joey was found by itself when it was just six months old. Her mother is believed to have been hit by a car.
Thankfully a couple stopped to rescue her and she will now stay with Kate Doyle until she is ready to be released back into the wild.
Kate told us the story and sent in some seriously cute snaps…
Hat-tip to Kate Doyle for sending this our way! If you have seen something weird or wonderful you'd like to share with us, drop us a line on hello@her.ie or tweet us @herdotie.
