It's important to mark the big occasions so when Penny Fanning's 50th birthday was on the horizon, her family decided to come up with a surprise that would put a smile on her face.
Penny, who lives in Carrick-On-Shannon in Co. Leitrim, had been forced to give up driving several years ago due to a back injury.
As she hadn't been able to afford to get back on the road since her recovery, daughter Rebecca and sons Nick and Josh decided to put together a very special surprise for her big day.
To say she's delighted is an understatement... this is just lovely!
