Father Ted has to be one of the best TV shows to ever emerge from our little island.
Craggy Island has become a tourist destination, there are Father Ted Hallowe'en costumes, a whole load of Father Ted merchandise and about a billion quotes and memes that we can't resist using over and over again.
If Father Ted knew of the publicity this one Mayo priest was getting, he'd probably be rolling his eyes with the same amount of envy he had for his on-screen Eurovision rival Dick Byrne.
Based in the Tuam archdiocese, Father John Kenny is known to many for his incredible fundraising work, helping raise tens of thousands of euro for various different charities.
And to help raise the profile of the charities he works with, Fr Kenny utilises his social media accounts, which are filled with loads of fun selfies, with celebrities and people alike.
As part of promoting a charity event in aid of Pieta House, called Pedal, Paddle, Pilgrimage & Party - not an endurance test, just for fun - Fr Kenny and two local parishioners recreated one of the hilarious scenes from the legendary Channel 4 Irish sitcom.
The clip, entitled Not A Race, which echoes the 'not a racist' sketch from Father Ted shows Fr Kenny and two neighbours act out the roles perfectly and we LOVE it.
Amazing! The resemblance to the original sketch is almost uncanny.
We wish Fr Kenny all the best with his fundraising and hope to see more sketches in future!
