Creating a specific colour scheme for your room using more than one colour can seem very daunting.
The majority of people default to using a blanket neutral colour on their walls and introducing colour through soft furnishings. But there’s really no need to fear!
By introducing more than one colour on your walls, you can really transform your home and get the opportunity to put your own personal stamp on your room.
But with so many different types of colour combinations to choose from and the question for most people is where to start? We’re here to help.
A common start point is to look at the items in your room that you won’t be replacing like furniture, carpet or curtains as this will dictate what colours you can use in that room.
Many of these fixed items in people’s homes are neutral in tone i.e. beige, brown, black etc, here are some foolproof schemes that can help to transform your room.
Reds are still popular statement colours, pair Shamira with a warmer grey such as Winter Truffle for a contemporary space, both from the Dulux Moda range.
