She turned 50 in July, and looks better than ever, but Friends star Lisa Kudrow has only recently opened up about having cosmetic surgery at the tender age of 16.
The actress, who played Phoebe in the beloved television sitcom, admitted that having a nose job in her teens was “life-altering”.
Speaking to
The Saturday Evening Post, the star said; “I went from, in my mind, hideous, to not hideous. I did it the summer before going to a new high school. So there were plenty of people who wouldn’t know how hideous I looked before. That was a good, good, good change.”

Kudrow also opened up about the bullying she experienced during her school years, saying that when she was 13, her 20 year old sister would ‘rescue’ her on half days when she would have no one to go to lunch with.
In the years since
Friends ended, Kudrow has worked primarily as a producer, but she is now back on global screens as a guest star in the hit ABC show
Scandal.
