Readers, I have to admit, I did gasp aloud watching this video.
As Halloween is well and truly over and Christmas takes full hold of everything, it can be easy to get sick of all the same festive songs, food and jumpers (those dreaded jumpers).
But one Youtuber has certainly broken up the merry, festive vibe we're seeing everywhere else on the internet as her horrific prank on her boyfriend is going viral.
De'arra, a Youtuber who is half of De'arra & Ken 4 Life, decided to pull a prank to end all pranks and record it all.
De'arra explains to camera that Ken is out getting food and the pair had already recorded for the day, therefore her unsuspecting boyfriend wouldn't expect anything.
She applies cuts from the joke shop and covers their house in fake blood, not to mention smothering her body in the red liquid, making it look as if their home was attacked by a murderer. Eventually, Ken comes home and you can almost feel how terrified and shocked he feels to discover his girlfriend has been seriously injured.
Truly, it's a gripping watch.
What's a little worrying is that Ken did not check for danger, for De'arra's breathing or for a pulse... And he seems to take his time dialling 911 too.
