He likes to have a quickie first thing in the morning, however, you’d much prefer to wait until night when you can relax and enjoy yourself. It’s a common problem. The thing is, men usually prefer to have sex first thing in the morning because it’s when their testosterone levels are at their peak. But if 7am sex just doesn’t work for you, compromising is key.

Have a chat with your man and explain why you prefer late-night sex as opposed to crack-of-dawn sex. Agree that you’ll set your alarm 20minutes early two or three times a week, as long as he’s willing to have some late-night sessions with you too. Building a healthy sex life is all about being flexible.

If he’s ready to go anytime, anywhere but you like to wait for the right moment…

He’ll happily have a quickie in the car or in the frozen foods section of the supermarket. However, you like to have a shower, light some candles and set the mood.  If you like having some time to relax before you get down and dirty, why not ask your man to go and do something else while you head to the bedroom and get yourself ready? This way, you’ll get your 20minutes of peace and he’ll be kept busy with another task until you’re ready to go.

If you’re conservative but he wants to get adventurous…

Your partner wants to spice things up by getting frisky in public but you prefer a little privacy. If this sounds familiar then there are a few things you need to do. The most important one is to talk with your man. Ask him why he wants to try this out and explain your reservations. It’s important to note that just because he wants to take away a bit of your privacy doesn’t mean that he’s not interested in the sex you’re already having, he’s just excited by the fact that you could get caught.

Why not start small? Try moving your action out of the bedroom and into other areas of your home. Why not do it in the kitchen or the bathroom? If you feel brave and want to increase the risk, open the curtains but be warned: you could end up giving your neighbours an eyeful!
