Stand Up to Cancer – Channel 4 (7:30pm)

Davina McCall, Alan Carr and Christian Jessen host this evening of entertainment which aims to raise awareness and money for cancer. Chatty Man and The Million Pound Drop are among the shows that will make up the evening along with music performances and live appearances.

Modern Family – Sky One (8:00pm)

In tonight’s episode Gloria and Jay disagree about finding out the sex of their baby, Luke is leaving for college, Phil is going under the knife and Mitchell tries to get Cameron out of the house and into a job. Hilarious as always!

It’s an Irish thing – RTÉ One (8:30pm)

With Colin Murphy and Ardal O’Hanlon on this evening’s show you’re in for more than a couple of laughs. They and a few others discuss their favourite family dinners as well as the ups and downs of life in Ireland.

Friday the 13th – E4 (10.10)

Supernatural actor Jared Padalecki stars in this 2009 remake of the horror flick. A group of students are staying at a campsite where a killer is lurking. While it’s not as good as the original, it is guaranteed to get you in the mood for Halloween.

The Graham Norton Show – BBC One (10:35pm)

He’s back! Graham Norton will be talking to Arnold Schwarzenegger, Miranda Hart and Ronnie Corbett on his sofa tonight. And as always, expect lots of laughs and plenty of interesting stories in the famous red chair.
