He's one of the world's biggest film stars and he's in Dublin today to promote his new film Oblivion so we thought it'd be nice to mark the occasion with seven of Tom Cruise's most memorable moments.

And yes, we know there are a lot more than seven but we can't take all day!

This flick catapulted Tom to fame and heartthrob status. Not that it’s surprising considering this scene where he sings along to You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’.

This courtroom drama really proved Tom’s acting ability. The exchange between him and Jack Nicholson is one of the most quoted of all time.

Some called it cringey. Others called it crazy. We’ll call it the moment when one of Hollywood’s biggest stars jumped around the set of one of America’s biggest shows.

 

The Dance (Risky Business)

So he proved he could sing (sort of, not really) in Top Gun but it was in Risky Business that he showed us his killer dance moves.

 

The Other Dance (Tropic Thunder)

And it was in this comedy that Tom proved just how versatile he could be and also that he doesn’t take himself too seriously.

The Money (Jerry Maguire)

It was another hit and another incredible movie catchphrase. We have no doubt that he saw plenty of money after this performance!
