It's not all about the farming.
Every year over 200,000 people flock to the National Ploughing Champions (that's even more than Electric Picnic) and it's fast become Europe's largest outdoor exhibition and trade show.
This year the event is taking place at Screggan in Tullamore, Co. Offaly on September 20-22 and it looks like this is going to be one of the best years yet.
If you've never been to the National Ploughing Champions, there are a lot of different parts to the event. From cooking and craft demonstrations to livestock shows and auctions.
The championship has loads on offer, even if you're not interested in farming.
Here are the things you definitely won't want to miss out on.
Tractor Football
Yes, you read that correctly. At this year's event, farmers from Offaly and Laois will battle it out in a game of tractor football to raise awareness for heart failure.
If you're having trouble picturing it, this is how it will work. Each team has three players (each in a WR Shaw New Holland tractor). The players will have to try get a massive seven-foot football through the posts at either ends of the pitch using their tractor skills.
Sounds pretty hilarious, doesn't it?
Food Fayre
Well, you're going to be hungry if you're there all day, aren't you? You won't be disappointed with the food available.
This year there will be lots on offer from the NPA Food and Wine Hall (hello!), Leader Food Village, Bord Bia, co-ops, supermarket chains and lots of artisan food producers.
We're drooling over the chocolates and crêpes on offer.
Fashion Shows
Fashion and farming aren't two things you would automatically put together, but there will be lots of fab fashion shows during the championship.
The ever popular ‘Most Appropriately Dressed Lady’ competition will also take place again this year with a €500 voucher from Wineport Lodge up for grabs.
Local Enterprise Village
This year’s Local Enterprise Village will be home to over 84 businesses exhibiting their wares and giving talks.
What's really exciting about this year's village is that 50 of the business' on display have been founded or co-founded by female entrepreneurs. Talk about girl power. So if you fancy some business inspiration pop along and talk to some women in the know.
Horse Racing Ireland Tent
The HRI tent will be back at the championships this year and is well worth stopping by. Over the course of the event, the tent will have talks with top trainers and jockeys as well as the Front Runner Kids club for the little ones.
There will be lots of prizes and giveaways in the marquee as well as the Leopardstown dinner and Irish Field giveaway which are worth over €2500.
