Your nerves would be shot...
A couple in the US has been tormented by the incessant ringing of an alarm clock that has been stuck in a wall in their home for 13 years.
Jerry Lynn got the alarm clock stuck in the wall in their home in Ross Township, Pennsylvania, back in 2004, reports
Vice.
He had lowered the alarm clock on a string down through an air vent from upstairs in an attempt to figure out where in the wall downstairs to drill an hole in the wall to put a TV cable.
But his knot came undone and the clock got lost somewhere in the wall. Unfortunately, Jerry had set the alarm to go off so he'd be able to find where to drill and, incredibly, it's still going off once a day, every day, 13 years later.
"It is still going off every day," Jerry said.
"During daylight savings time it goes off at ten minutes until eight, and during standard time it goes off at ten minutes to seven at night."
Good. God.
Of course, it should be noted that Jerry and his wife could just hack into the drywall with an axe but he said that they've come to get used to the alarm.
