Samantha Womack is returning to Albert Square after two years away from the popular soap.
The actress, who left EastEnders after the 'baby-swap' storyline, is due to step back into Ronnie Mitchell's shoes this summer.
Samantha is reprising her role as Ronnie Mitchell.
Speaking about her comeback yesterday, Samantha told reporters:"I am thrilled to be returning to the role of Ronnie for the next six months.
"Ronnie is coming out of prison and her re-appearance in the Square is going to create havoc. I can't wait to be a Mitchell once again."
Samantha, or should we say Ronnie, caused quite the stir before she left. She abducted Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon's (Shane Ritchie) baby.
It was a storyline that caused a great deal of controversy and actually was the reason Samantha left.

She left in 2011 after four years on the show.
At the time she said: "I did find the storyline very, very difficult. It was draining emotionally and physically and by the end I was shattered."
"I worked out I'd been crying or screaming at work every day for six days a week for over two years... My brain may know I am acting, but my body was doing a different thing. I needed to stop and find peace, a bit like Ronnie."
And Ronnie isn't the only familiar face 'Enders fans will be seeing in the coming months. Danny Pennant, played by Gary Lucy, will also be back.
