If you were lucky enough to grow up in the 80's or 90's, one of the characters on the big screen that you would have been very familiar with was none other than SuperTed.
According to Den of Geek, the super bear will be making a return to our screens in 2016 but not exactly in the same form as the older series.
If you don't remember SuperTed, he was the teddy bear who fought Texas Pete with his super sidekick, Spotty and a flamboyant skeleton. The entire affair was set to the below killer theme tune.
However, creator Mike Young did announce there would be a few changes to the original mechanic: "in SuperTed we had a gun-slinging cowboy, a flamboyantly gay skeleton and a fat guy who had jokes made about his weight. And all these things you just wouldn’t do today."
BBC are keen to get the project up and running so it seems we are looking at a 2016 release date.
