Anyone for a fun day out?
During the week, we found a brilliant inflatable waterpark in Athlone and now we've found a similar inflatable park that's coming to loads of different locations in Ireland throughout the summer. Happy days!
Wild Air Run is a fun run featuring 10 giant inflatable obstacles, including Europe’s longest inflatable slide. This is the first time an event like this will take place in Ireland. The initial event will happen in Cabinteely Park, Dublin from the 1st to 3rd July, 2016.
It will then set up in Fota House Cork from 8th to 10th July, at Malahide Castle from 22nd to 24th July and in Marlay Park from 12th to 17th August. They'll also be coming to Galway and Kilkenny and other locations yet to be announced.
It looks like great craic!
The race begins by tackling a staircase start-line, then you zig-zag through the maze and have fun in the giant ball pit. Before taking your turn on Europe’s longest slide.
There will also be a ‘Chill Zone’, an area for both participants and spectators to relax and enjoy music, games and food and drink from local vendors.
The Cabinteely Park event will kick off its first wave at 10:00am, with additional waves running in 20-minute intervals until 8:20p.m. They've cleverly broken down the day into two sessions, the family only from 11:00am-4:40pm and the adult only session from 10:00-10:40am and 17:00-20:20pm.
