Love is in the air...at the zoo.

Despite it feeling like the 7,891st day of January, the end of the month is nearly here - and February is just around the corner. And so is the most loved-up day of the year. If you're looking for a bit of a different way to mark February 14th this year, Dublin Zoo have confirmed the details of their Valentine's Day package - and it sounds like a lovely day out. The special offer will run on Saturday, February 15th and Sunday, February 16th. It will cost €50 per couple. The offer includes entry for two to the Zoo, as well as a sweet treat and a tea or coffee per person from the Meerkat Restaurant. And you'll get to bring a piece of the Zoo home with you, as you get a souvenir photo keyring to remember the special day by and a soft toy to take home. In addition, there will be a series of talks from zookeepers throughout the weekend focusing on the courtship, breeding and romantic rituals of some of the Zoos well-known animals.
