Warm, cosy yet airy is the best way to describe the colour scheme used in last night’s The Design Doctors episode in Leixlip.
We particularly liked the soft pink used as a subtle feature wall in the sitting room pictured below. Pink doesn’t have to be girly and used in the correct manner can bring a subtle statement to any room.
Dulux recommends asking your local Dulux stockist to specially prepare the subtle pink colour “10YR 74/066”and the perfect off white “Jabot” into a matt finish to recreate this look in your own home.

The splash of pink across these rooms featured on the Design Doctors adds a more playful element to the sitting room and bedroom.
The bedroom pictured below was given a more luxurious look with a cool neutral colour scheme teamed with stronger tones of pink in the accessories.
To recreate this colour scheme Dulux recommends asking your local Dulux stockist to prepare the colour “30YY 58/082” in a beautiful matt finish.

Here, subtle grey purple Ashbury complements Soft Blush perfectly.
Both of these colours are from the Dulux Easycare range.

Gorgeous truffle colours also work really well to give a room a more rich feeling, as we saw last night:

Even a simple cushion is enough to add to the mix.

Warm, neutral Winter Truffle from the Dulux Moda range is a deep and warm tone that can be used in any room.

Moving back to pinks, by adding a standout feature you can instantly brighten up a room. See below how the pink lamp from last night's episode works so well and catches the eye?

The same can be said for the simple but brilliant styling of pink accessories in the hallway and kitchen.
Pink flowers and lamp shadeadd a pop of colour and perfectly compliment both the black and white tiles in the kitchen and the neutral walls of the hallway.
To get this look Dulux recommends the colour "10YY 46/041."

Airy, ethereal Gentle Blossom from the Dulux Light & Space range, is a “just pink” that will make small, dark rooms feel bright and spacious.

Here we see Soft Blush used again, this time with sugary Parisian Cream, both from the Dulux Easycare range.
Taking that inspiration here are some pink and neutral toned colour schemes from Dulux.
