A Taiwanese man has come under fire after a video emerged of his child strapped to the steering wheel of a car.
Yong Liao, 39 was at a service station in western Taiwan's Miaoli county when he strapped the baby to the wheel of his car and spinned it back and forth.
The child's mother then posted the video online and the pair can be heard singing to the one-month-old baby.
Despite a major backlash, the pair have defended their actions, saying "I don't know what everyone is complaining about, we weren't on a main road at the time, we were only at a service station".
According to the Daily Mail, social workers have confirmed that no action would be taken against the couple.
