Another weekend rolls around… by Wednesday every week we’re planning for the Best Weekend Ever, but by the time clocking off time comes on Friday it’s so easy to let it slip by without doing a thing except working on that groove in the couch! We’ve paired up with [yellow tail] wines to bring you three suggestions every Friday on how to make the most of your weekend…

Friday – Evening
If heading straight for the local after work isn’t your thing and the idea of spending your evening in front of another boring talk show leaves you cold – why not bring some friends over and go old-school with a board game night! Root out the classics like Monopoly and Cluedo, laugh like you’re a child again, with the added bonus of a glass of wine and no one telling you what time you need to go to bed!
Saturday – Day
We’re almost afraid to say it… but it finally looks as though spring has sprung! Make the most of the glorious weather this week and pack yourself a picnic basket to take to any one of the beautiful spots around the country. A blanket, a bottle and a feast fit for kings but made for a fiver, sure who could say no?

Sunday – Night
Is it just us or does everyone still get the ‘Glenroe’ feeling on a Sunday night? That ‘never finished my homework, can’t believe it’s back to school in the morning’ sense in the pit of your tummy that’s lasted since school days begun! Avoid it by associating Sunday night with fun times. Get the uniforms, work-wear, bags etc. ready on Sunday evening then settle down for a movie night with a classic. Start early to make sure you’re not up all hours and setting yourself up for a fail on Monday, but wind down for the weekend with something far removed from modern life. Anything with Marilyn or Audrey should suffice.
