Lads, we're feeling positive.

The sunshine may be gone but it's a good day when the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar announces the acceleration of Phase Two from Monday. This means we will be allowed to move around more within our respective counties while being responsible and staying local. In short, the re-emergence from Covid-19 has begun and it's now about staying safe and rebuilding while staying vigilant. Although this is great news, while walking through Dublin city recently (within my 5k) I did notice the amount of empty poster sites throughout and it was a harsh reminder that this virus has affected every aspect of the nation's fibre, from health to culture. We've been starved of cultural experience for weeks now, everything from gigs to theatre shows, it's all been shut down. This has led to poster sites across Dublin lying completely blank. Inspired to turn a negative into a positive, consultant Anthony Remedy, stylist Corina Gaffey and photographer Naomi Gaffey have created 'The Positive Space'. This city-wide exhibition aims to turn these empty spaces into something hopeful, by showcasing inspiring imagery from talented Irish photographers.The Positive Space has secured a substantial amount of sites around the city for the duration of the exhibition and has a stellar line of up of fine art, portrait, fashion, and documentary photographers onboard. In order to get the exhibition up and running the team need to raise €10,000.
